Here is Jeanne Host's photograph of the white oak tree on West Putnam Avenue. The photo won first prize in Green Fingers' Preview of Spring last year and also was hung in the juried Greenwich Art Society show.

These are three great shots by Steph Haig. "Daffodil" was entered in the Greenwich Daffodil Show two years ago and got a third place. "Aspen" was never entered in a show but demonstrates how Adobe Photo shop can be used to 'paint' your pictures. "Rain Drops" won a first place in the Preview of Spring Celebrate show. The image was captured in the early morning when she went out to pick up the paper. Rain from the night time was beaded on a red bud leaf on the driveway.

Here we see Evelyn Lorentzen-Bell's work. The plant material for “Good Fences” includes Wisteria “Wisteria sinensis” Cherry Laurel “Prunus caroliniana” Daphne “Daphne mezereum”Camellia, White Empress “Camellia japonica" Southern Indian Azalea Species “Azalea indica” and Rhododendron Species “Rhododendron”. It was photographed in Charleston, South Carolina February 2007 and entered in the Garden Club of America’s 2007 Annual Meeting in the category "Gleamings from Robert Frost", where it won a second prize. The judge commented that it evoked "The Garden of Good and Evil"
In the photo "Boys' Club", plant materials include Quercus Alba (Eastern White Oak) and "Fagus Grandiflora" (American Beech). This photo won a first at our Preview of Spring show with its excellent tonal quality and linear design.
